Refractile Segmented Sphere Earrings

These distinctive Refractile Segmented Sphere earrings are handcrafted in sterling silver, featuring an intricate segmented spherical form that creates a striking interplay of light, shadow and reflection.

The earrings are given a liver of sulphur patina, allowing the darkened finish to settle into the fine details of the segmented surface. The silver is then carefully polished back by hand, revealing the brighter silver on the raised areas and creating greater depth, contrast and definition.

Suspended from simple hook wire fastenings, these sculptural earrings have a contemporary character while retaining the individuality of handmade jewellery.
